  • The North East Cup is a brand-new EA Sports FC 26 tournament bringing players, families and fans together for an unforgettable regional esports experience. It’s your chance to compete locally, play on huge screens, and fight for a share of the prize fund as the North East’s best battle it out.

  • Registration opens soon — keep an eye on this page or follow us on social media for updates. Qualifiers will run from March through June 2026, leading into the Grand Final later this summer.

  • Each qualifier features a £1,000 cash prize pool, with top players earning their place in the Grand Final — where the total prize fund doubles and regional bragging rights are on the line (along with the glorious cup)

  • With 12 continuous set ups on the go, every match will be played on giant 95-inch screens, with the later rounds on a 6-metre main display under full sound and lighting. Expect atmosphere, energy and big moments — all in front of a live crowd.

  • Definitely! The North East Cup is designed for all ages and groups — friends, families, and fans alike. Every qualifier is free to watch, every game in the early rounds split-screened on our main displays with food, drinks and live commentary throughout.

  • Top 40-50 from each qualifier automatically reserve a space in the The Grand Final taking place alongside the start of the 2026 World Cup, creating a weekend of football and esports celebration like no other.
